Our Away Weekend is on its way!

This weekend we’ll be jetting off to the heights of Hemel Hempstead for a choir retreat with over 30 of our members!

For the second year, we’ll be taking over the beautiful Felden Lodge, set in acres of countryside to bask in singing… and much more!

We have a packed schedule of 27 different activities, ranging from group singing, dance, musical theatre and vocal masterclasses, to wellbeing (in the form of mindfulness and yoga), an invigorating book club, crafternoons, team sport and sharings. We will also be running a workshop to give participants a first taste and chance to help us shape parts of our new musical The Complete Guide to Being a Girl (working title).

The evenings will be spent on scavenger hunts, pub quizzes, ceilidh dancing and a Starling piano bar which we predict will see our members belting out musical theatre classics into the wee hours. We have basically planned our dream weekend, alongside the perfect company!

The inaugural away weekend in February 2018 was one of the most memorable events in Starling Arts’ history, bringing our community together in new ways and forging new friendships and skills. We are looking forward to building on its success and creating a lasting legacy that will contribute to our 10th anniversary celebrations this year!
