A Year That Keeps on Giving

As a community company, we are proud to club together to do what we can for causes close to our hearts. This year we're thrilled to have raised over £4,250 for causes including The British Heart Foundation, SANDS, Cakes4Cabs and Mind.

A gang of carol singers from across our three adult choirs come together every year to sing for charity, and this year we filled some of London's busiest Railway Stations with song for The British Heart Foundation. Over nine hours of festive favourites later and the choir had managed to pull in £2,457 for the UK's number one heart charity. Thank you to everyone who listened, taking a moment out of their commute to watch and enjoy. And thanks to our dedicated team of carollers who braved the cold (and pigeons).
As we reported earlier in the year, our choir community have also been raising money for Cakes4Cabs, pulling together over £1,500 by baking and selling cakes in rehearsals and at events. The campaign was renamed Cakes4Causes at the beginning of this term and continues to raise money for charities close to the choirs' hearts. We'll continue baking in 2015!
Many of our singers have also given up their free time to sing with us in hospitals and at community events.
In addition to the £4,250 raised, our fundraising events have also yielded funds towards our fifth anniversary concert, High Five, and we hope you'll all be able to come along to see the results on February 21st 2015!
